Warren has been the Chief Executive of VSNW since 2014 and employed to advocate on behalf of the voluntary and community sector nationally and regionally for 20 years. He has championed the role of the sector in driving social and economic growth throughout his career. Warren sees devolution, whatever it may be, as the starting point for a new understanding of what our sector is and could be.
Karen has provided advice and guidance to individuals and organisations for over 25 years in the private, public and voluntary sectors. She has worked as a solicitor in private practice, for the Charity Commission of England and Wales, and most recently for the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureau. After working on national projects for some years she is delighted to be focusing on her North West home region.

Amina Lone is the Greater Manchester Cancer Champions Coordinator. She has worked across the UK with communities at a local, regional and national level. Her passions include social justice, gender equality and lots of walking and reading.

Jo describes herself as a Change Maker. She is committed to reducing health inequalities and sees social prescribing as a game changer. As a committed well-being advocate she likes to squeeze between the gaps in organisational infrastructure and cut across sector divides to join stuff up and make things happen.
VSNW’s Social Movement lead
Besides being Deputy Chief Executive for Action Together, Ben is the project manager for the GM VCSE Reference Group’s Cancer Champion project. Ben has worked for 8 years for Action Together and CVAT gaining a range of experience of partnership structures and change management. His background is in facilitation, lobbying and campaigning in the charity sector particularly in international and community development. He is passionate about asset based approaches, social justice, peace-making and empowering people to make a difference.

Dan is the Policy and Research Officer for VSNW. He works with VCSFE groups in the Liverpool city region to develop more inclusive and imaginative approaches to policy-making. He is also close to completing a PhD in Policy Evaluation at the University of Manchester.
STRATEGIC FINANCE ADVISOR
Anna has over 20 years’ experience of supporting voluntary and community sector organisations with their finances and finance systems. Alongside VSNW, Anna has supported many other organisations including the LGBT Foundation, Age UK Tameside, Action Together, Hyde VA, Warrington Healthwatch, and the Trafford Centre for Independent Living.
