#DoWith North West

  • Voluntary Sector North West Ardwick Green North Manchester, England, M12 6FZ United Kingdom (map)

#DoWith North West is a half-day event hosted by Voluntary Sector North West and The King’s Fund, designed to gather real thoughts, experiences and ideas on how we move from talking about co-production to truly doing it.

We’re bringing people together from the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector, public services, researchers, lived experience networks and beyond, to explore: how do we shift to a real ‘Do With’ approach, not just in theory, but in practice?

What is the #DoWith movement?

#DoWith is about working alongside communities, not on their behalf or in their absence. It's a mindset and approach grounded in power-sharing, listening, and collaboration, recognising that real change comes when people are involved meaningfully in shaping decisions, services and systems.

This event is part of a wider movement that aims to grow co-production practice by:

  • Learning from real examples

  • Creating shared understanding across sectors

  • Identifying where change is needed

  • Setting collective priorities for action

What to expect

You’ll hear a few short talks to inspire thinking, but most of the time will be spent in group discussions. Our facilitators will collect your reflections, challenges, and ideas to help shape the future direction of the #DoWith movement in the region. We are inviting open, honest conversation, and your voice is central to the day.

Full lineup of speakers and agenda to come.

Refreshments provided.
