Devolution

We act as a key connector and advocate ensuring the VCFSE sector and our communities both influence and benefit from the rapidly progressing devolution in the North West. We facilitate connections between the sector and both new and existing devolved authorities, advocating for a bottom-up approach to regional development.

We work closely with VCFSE leadership and infrastructure across North West sub-regions to embed the sector as strategic devolution partners, promote inclusive growth, and ensure grassroots voices are heard in regional governance.

We have been at the forefront of devolution discussions since 2015, emphasising the importance of the sector in health, social care and economic development of our sub-regions.
