Two events, one shared vision

The launch began with the Ethnic Community Voices event at One Knowsley, which the first focused BRIDGE Community space, where participants explored how research can better reflect the lived experiences of ethnically diverse groups.
Discussions focused on tackling barriers to participation, using creative and participatory methods such as storytelling and film, and building equitable partnerships where communities shape research agendas.
This was followed by the online BRIDGE Network launch, which brought together more than 40 partners to explore the platform’s features and discuss how to strengthen accessibility and trust. Feedback called for clearer onboarding resources, a shared research pledge, and continued focus on transparency and collaboration.
If you missed the online launch, you can find the recording here and the participant notes within BRIDGE.
