Award categories

The winners will be chosen from three categories, each highlighting a different type of organisation that has demonstrated outstanding commitment to fair, inclusive and impactful funding or commissioning of the VCFSE sector.

Outstanding Grant Funder 2024

Eric Wright Charitable Trust received the Outstanding Grant Funder award for their impactful and sustained funding that empowers VCFSE organisations and strengthens long-term community resilience and growth.

Outstanding Commissioner – Local Authority 2024

This award was presented to Manchester City Council’s Our Manchester Funds Team for their collaborative approach, respect for community expertise, and commitment to inclusion, which has helped to uplift the VCFSE sector in the city.

Outstanding Commissioner – NHS 2024

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside’s Wirral Place took home the award for their success in integrating health and community services, prioritising VCFSE involvement, and demonstrating transparency and a strong commitment to health equity.
