Warren has been the Chief Executive of VSNW since 2014 and employed to advocate on behalf of the voluntary and community sector nationally and regionally for 20 years. He has championed the role of the sector in driving social and economic growth throughout his career. Warren sees devolution, whatever it may be, as the starting point for a new understanding of what our sector is and could be.

Anna Sevink

Anna has over 20 years’ experience of supporting voluntary and community sector organisations with their finances and finance systems. Alongside VSNW, Anna has supported many other organisations including LGBT Foundation, Age UK Tameside, Action Together, Hyde VA, Warrington Heathwatch, and Trafford Centre for Independent Living.

Angie Took

Angie is an experienced Business Management Consultant with a proven track record in marketing and communications, set up and operational management of various business services and companies across a broad spectrum of private, statutory, public and voluntary sector organisations.

Policy and Development Officer

Sam Popper

Sam previously worked for an MP in Parliament and for the Health Foundation and New Policy Institute research organisations. As a resident of Levenshulme, he is actively involved with grassroots activity in Greater Manchester. Sam studied Politics and Philosophy at Sheffield University.

VSNW’s Social Movement lead

Ben Gilchrist

Besides being Deputy Chief Executive for Action Together, Ben is the project manager for the GM VCSE Reference Group’s Cancer Champion project. Ben has worked for 8 years for Action Together and CVAT gaining a range of experience of partnership structures and change management. His background is in facilitation, lobbying and campaigning in the charity sector particularly in international and community development. He is passionate about asset based approaches, social justice, peace-making and empowering people to make a difference.
