Criminology and Criminal Justice Postgraduate Scholarships

The scholarships are based on merit and takes the form of a fee reduction of £1,000 for UK or EU students and £2,000 for international students. All successful applicants will be considered for these scholarships.
The MRes in Criminology and Socio-legal Studies is an ESRC recognised programme that allows you to specialise in areas of criminology, criminal justice, and socio-legal studies. The ESRC recognition means that once completed, this course would allow you to proceed to a PhD Programme at Manchester or any other British university. The programme is developed to provide skills for students interested in a research career, either in academia or in the private or public sectors.
The MA in Crime, Law and and Society is an interdisciplinary programme focusing on key issues of crime causation, crime control and regulation. The degree is designed to appeal to recent graduates looking to develop a critical understanding of contemporary issues in criminology and criminal justice, as well as practitioners and professionals in criminal justice and community safety who want to update and broaden their knowledge in this area.
