Following the award of a Leverhulme research project grant, you will join a research team, led by Debra Morris in the Charity Law & Policy Unit, looking at the impact of equality legislation on charities. Working with key informants, such as charity trustees, officers and their legal advisors, this socio-legal research project will provide a comprehensive empirical exploration of the legal consequences for charities of the Equality Act 2010.
You should have a PhD in law or a related discipline (e.g. sociology). Knowledge of the voluntary sector and interests in equality issues are desirable. This is a 1 year post with a salary of £31,020 pa and is based in Liverpool city centre.
