Proposed Lottery Fund changes to highlight to MPs

9 December 2011

We would like to encourage local groups to send a copy, or even better write to your MP highlighting the issues. Alternatively, please consider simply enclosing a copy of the Briefing Note for your MP's attention with a short letter focussed on your main concern which may include:

► Lottery funds should be the catalyst for innovative social investment
► Commitment to focus on funding the third sector
► Need to adequately define “Social Enterprise”
► Lottery funding should not be a substitute for Government spending
► Funds should be distributed on evidenced need that includes consideration of communities of interest and identity

On the publications' section of our website you can access a .pdf version of the briefing note and a word version which you may wish to use in order to draft your own response.

Although the consultation is closed, please let your MP know about your concerns.
