Regional Improvement and Efficiency Networks publishes Transition Plan

The North West Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (NWIEP) outlines support for councils across the region over the coming year.

There are three main branches of support for councils:

1. NW Efficiency Network: Business Improvement Techniques training programme; smarter procurement methods; savings on the costs of carrying out assessments on citizens who may need social care support.
2. NW Improvement Network: leadership development support; a range of learning packages to share best practice; support developing new forms of public service delivery and large-scale change.
3. Programmes from each of the five sub-regions looking at a range of areas including procurement support, adult social care reform, support for collaborative projects and health and wealth inequalities.
