There is a share of £600,000 available for four charities to take part in the three month Sidekick School programme

Volunteering Greater Manchester, in conjunction with GMCVO and the Volunteer Centre Warrington, are offering for the first time an accredited Volunteer Management Training course starting in November 2011.
The cost of the course is £940, but Volunteering Greater Manchester are able to offer bursaries of up to 50% if you work or volunteer for an eligible organisation.
So if you work with or manage volunteers, but don't have a formal qualification, then you are invited to go along to their no-obligation information session at GMCVO, St Thomas Centre on 13th October between 10am and 12 noon.
