Anchorpoint Stockport is a new service formed to support the voluntary and community sector in Stockport. It is just starting out on its journey and is now looking to recruit three talented and passionate people to get on board and help it achieve its goal of creating a strong, vibrant and resilient voluntary and community sector in Stockport.
People Lead
If you like working directly with other people, and helping them to grow and develop to increase their own personal skills whilst also helping to benefit their local communities, then this post could be for you.
The People Lead will be a training and learning professional and will take an active role in developing the skills of people already working or volunteering in the sector. This person will also work to promote the benefits of volunteering in Stockport to both individuals and organisations.
£28,000 FTE, 30 hours per week

Information and Communications Officer
This person will create and deliver high quality and timely information for use by organisations and people working or volunteering in the sector. Using a variety of methods the Information and Communications Officer will keep the sector informed and involved in the latest developments at national, regional and local levels as well as informing the outside world about what is happening in Stockport’s voluntary and Community sector.
If you have your finger on the pulse of what is happening in society today, and want to share that information with people in Stockport, then this post could be for you.
Salary in the region of £21,000 FTE, 21 hours per week over 5 days

Administrator
Supporting the work of Anchorpoint Stockport generally, and of their colleagues specifically, the Administrator will handle the day to day tasks required in a busy office. Included within those tasks at Anchorpoint Stockport will be elements of customer liaison, record keeping, cash handling and database entry.
If you have an eye for detail and a passion for helping others, then this post could be for you.
Salary in the region of £15,000 FTE, 18.5 hours per week
