Government seeks applications for groups to run new National Citizen Service

The government is opening an application process for charities, businesses and voluntary groups that want to pilot the new National Citizen Service, a voluntering programme for young people.
The government will invite organisations to submit their bids to be providers of the scheme on a range of different scales over the next few weeks. There will be a competitive tendering process and the government will announce which organisations will deliver the scheme in September.
