LGF's Enough is Enough! campaign receives critical acclaim

28 May 2010

On Monday May 17 - International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia - The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (LGF) launched their new campaign Enough is Enough! Action Against Homophobia.

The campaign - which encourages people to take positive action against homophobia - has been named Digital Campaign of the Week on the Third Sector website.

To have a look what Third Sector have to say about the campaign - which features Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton and screen and stage legend Sir Ian McKellen (both LGF Patrons) - click here

Homophobia is still a daily reality for many lesbian, gay and bisexual people and their family and friends – on the street, at work, at school, and where we live.

Enough is Enough! Action Against Homophobia aims to keep stories alive, campaign for justice, and highlight how homophobia can impact on all lives regardless of sexuality. It’s about encouraging people to have the confidence to use their rights and report hate crime. But most of all it’s about coming together to let people know homophobia is unacceptable and needs to stop.
