Call for applications for the Social Enterprise NW Mentoring Programme
27 May 2010
Social Enterprise North West's second Mentoring Programme for social enterprises and enterprising third sector organisations will start in July 2010 and applications are now being invited for the programme.
This fully-funded programme is an opportunity for growing leaders and managers of both start-up and existing social enterprises in the region to access independent one-to-one mentoring support from established and experienced leaders in the sector and to learn from their experiences and good practices. Mentees on the programme will develop their own leadership and management skills and will benefit from training & networking opportunities. They will also be given many other useful tools and resources that will help them to develop their social enterprise.
If you are from a new or existing social enterprise OR from an enterprising Third Sector organisation and would like to have a ‘sounding board’ to help you to develop your social enterprise and strengthen your own leadership abilities, this programme is for you. Please get in touch to request a Joining pack (details below).
The deadline date for receipt of completed Joining forms is Friday 18 June, but places on the programme are limited so an early application is advised.
Could you be a mentor?
SENW is looking for mentors from across the North West. If you have experience of working with or within a social enterprise and the ability to provide mentoring support, please get in touch and request an Expression of Interest form and information pack. The deadline date for receipt of completed forms is Monday 7 June so we would advise that you get in touch with us soon.
You can download information and all the forms from www.senw.org.uk
Or you can send an email to request either a ‘Joining pack’ (for social enterprises) or a ‘Mentor pack’ (for mentors) to Harsha Patel, SENW Mentoring Project Manager at harshap@senw.org.uk. Telephone 01772 521013
