Violence against women action plan consultation

18 May 2010

The Government Equalities Office has developed a Strategic Action Plan, in partnership with other government departments, to look at what the Government could do to support the sustainability of the violence against women and girls voluntary and community sector.

We are keen to gather views from the VAWG voluntary and community sector, commissioners and others with an interest in the work.

The Women’s National Commission, which successfully raised the need to address the sustainability of the voluntary and community sector with government, has agreed to manage this consultation on GEO’s behalf.

For more information visit the consultation pages on the Equalities Office website.

The consultation period will run from Thursday 01 April to Friday 23 July 2010. If you are unable to download the documents or complete the questions on Survey Monkey please call on 030 3444 4083.
