Enough is enough: take action against homophobia

18 May 2010

This week marked the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia, and the launch of the Lesbian & Gay Foundation's Enough is Enough! Action against Homophobia campaign.

On the street, at school, at work and in the home, homophobia is still a daily reality for lesbian, gay and bisexual people and for their family and friends.

Over the last two years there has been a worrying rise in high profile homophobic attacks, Nigel Price, Ian Baynham, James Parkes, Michael Causer, Jorge Steven Lopez Mercado, and Eudy Similane have all been killed, battered or bruised because of who they love.

Enough is Enough! will keep their stories alive, campaign for justice and highlight how homophobia can impact on all lives, regardless of sexuality.

To show your support, sign up to Enough is Enough! at www.lgf.org.uk/enough
