FREE places on North West third sector tendering training course

There are FREE places available on the Level 2 Introductory Certificate in Purchasing and Supply (CIPS2) training course on Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 May

The Level 2 Introductory Certificate in Purchasing and Supply qualification is a stand-alone qualification, taking a minimum of 20 guided learning hours. This two day course has been developed in order to cover the basic principles of purchasing and supply. It is one unit, consisting of four elements: The role and scope of purchasing; Systems and procedures in purchasing; Working with suppliers; and the importance of purchasing contracts.

Why is this course relevant to me and my organisation?
Level 2 Introductory Certificate in Purchasing and Supply (CIPS2) training course is an industry standard qualification recognised and used by public sector Procurement Officers and Commissioners. If booked privately places on a CIPS2 training course would cost approximately £800.

Delivered by: Liverpool Chamber of Commerce & Industry
Location: Wigan Investment Centre
Cost: £50 deposit (returnable on completion of the course)
Duration: Two Days (participants must attend both days AND CIPS2 exam. Exam dates tbc)

This course is open to staff from third sector organisations operating in the North West.

This course is being delivered as part of the North West Tendering & Procurement Training Programme – a series of training courses which aim to provide third sector organisations with increased tendering and procurement skills, knowledge and expertise. This training programme has been funded by the North West Regional Development Agency and is being coordinated by Greater Merseyside ChangeUp’s Tendering and Procurement Support Service (TaPS), in partnership with Voluntary Sector North West.
