Trustees sought for Manchester Youth Volunteering Project

Manchester Youth Volunteering Project (MYVP) is looking for three new trustees including a Treasurer. MYVP is a local charity working to improve the lives of young people (14 – 25 years) in and around Manchester. It promotes the positive contribution young people make through volunteering and community engagement.
The Board of Trustees sets the strategic direction and supports the continued development of the organisation. Applicatns are welcomed from all backgrounds and specifically people with skills and experience in:
• Business, enterprise and management
• Finance, fundraising and accounting
• Working with young people and volunteering
The board meets six times per year with the additional commitment of sub-group meetings. The treasurer would also be required to meet regularly with the project manager and finance officer.
