Free support for community projects from Green Communities
23 March 2010
The Green Communities programme from the Energy Saving Trust aims to support, facilitate and promote community based energy projects.
From training and advice focused on project planning and funding, to technical support and a website of resources, Green Communities aims to help groups make a success of their ideas and projects.
Making your community more energy-efficient will not only save money but reduce impact on the environment by reducing carbon emissions. Collectively, we can do more, and energy-saving projects can act as a catalyst for bringing communities together for a common goal and conserving our environment for generations.
Membership of Green Communities is free, and gives you access to training courses, telephone and email support, free consultancy, funding advice and regular newsletters.
For more information visit www.energysavingtrust.org.uk/community or email greencommunities@est.org.uk or call 0844 8480077.
