Putting people first workforce implications - what do commissioners and providers need to do?
22 March 2010
The purpose of the workshops is to recognise the nature of the changing relationship between commissioners and providers and to identify the nature of that change, the implications for the workforce and what is support is needed. The Office of Public Management will facilitate each of the events together with the Joint Improvement Partnership and Skills for Care. The events will start at 9.30am with registration and refreshments, for a 10.00am start and close at 4.30pm. There will be a mixture of presentations and group work throughout the day.
The day is for commissioner and providers of adult services for residential and domiciliary care. Places are limited and will be allocated after the closing date to ensure a range of participants and geographical spread. Therefore submitting a booking form does not guarantee a place.
Book online at northwest.skillsforcare.org.uk/commissioning by 15th April (for the 29th April event) or 22nd April (for the 6th May event). Delegates will be contacted after booking has closed to confirm whether a place has been allocated to them.
