Dept. of Health Looking for New Strategic Partners

They are seeking to extend the DH Third Sector Strategic Partner Programme to reach and engage with third sector organisations working in and with:
• Mental Health organisations
• Women’s Sector organisations
• Carers organisations
• Armed Forces and Veterans Charities
• Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender organisations
• Offender Health and Social Care organisations
Only one application will be successful under each of these areas. In total, a maximum of six additional Strategic Partners will be successful in 2010/11.
Further detail on the Third Sector Strategic Partner Programme is available at the DH Website. It is advised that organisations read all of the supporting materials before deciding to apply.
Organisations considering applying to the programme should consider the information provided and DH strongly advise that you discuss your application with existing Strategic Partners, whose details can be found in the information pack, and other organisations who undertake similar activity in the relevant part of the sector.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is: 12:00pm Friday 12 March 2010 .
