Applications open for Community Voices grants
28 January 2010
Twenty-six community projects will be selected by the Media Trust to receive funding of either £1500, £7000 or £14,000, as well as support from digital mentors to help you make a difference in your community.
Community Voices is about supporting communities, specifically those with the greatest experience of social isolation or disadvantage, in their vision of creating a meaningful difference to their lives.
It aims to inspire, empower and support disadvantaged and isolated communities across England who might otherwise feel voiceless and unheard. Digital media can be the perfect way to get yourself heard! In addition to making funding available through the awards and grant scheme, the Trust provides free mentoring by media professionals and a rich calendar of training.
Apply by 28 February 2010 to be considered for a grant.
You can apply online, or in writing by downloading the Application Form.
