New free website for campaigners from NCVO
4 November 2009
NCVO in collaboration with Sitewriters has put together a site that enables anyone to set up and run an effective campaign regardless of their experience or budget. www.louder.org.uk is a free and easy-to-use resource allows first-time campaigners of all levels to access a range of free online activist tools, practical guides and resources to support and run campaigns.
New tools and resources will be added to the site over the coming months but already users can:
• Track and monitor supporter actions, such as: e-petitions, supporter sign-ups and letters sent to MPs, MEPs and councillors through my society tools
• Connect and manage your profiles on other social media sites, helping you better coordinate supporter action
• Embed and disseminate videos, photos and blogs
• Manage events
• Upload and share your own campaign materials
If you have any suggestions on functionality or userability please do add your comments to the road map.
