New Lesbian and Gay Foundation consultancy and training service launched

The Lesbian and Gay Foundation have launched a new specialist consultancy and training service.

Building on nearly 10 years of working with thousands of lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) people, LGF are now supporting other organisations with managing all issues surrounding sexual orientation and equality and diversity.
LGF consultancy and training services include the following examples of support:
- Staff Audits – providing insights into your workforce’s attitudes and the experiences of LGB staff members, highlighting potential problems and current good practice.
- Community or Customer Needs Assessments – discovering LGB people’s experiences of your services and what they really need and want in the future.
- Training in Sexual Orientation Monitoring – covering the need for implementation, the challenges it raises, and how to practically address these.
- Training in Equality & Diversity – a generic equality course providing a powerful overview of the essentials with considerations for your everyday work.
- Training in Sexual Orientation Awareness – providing a deeper understanding of the issues and experiences of LGB people and how to organisationally support these.
