VSNW vacancy: Promise Coordinator

21 hours per week
NJC Point 33-34: £27,849 to £28,636 Pro-Rata
Base: North West of England
Initially until Dec 2010
 
25 days holiday (Pro Rata) + 5 Company days and 7% Employer Pension Contribution on completion of probationary period (6 months)
 
You will be responsible for supporting the development of Promise – the Mental Health Improvement Programme (MHIP) Third and Independent Sector Providers Network. You will be responsible for developing the network and its relationship with MHIP.
 
You should have experience of partnership working between statutory services and the Third Sector or Independent Sector, consulting with, and reporting to, a wide range of stakeholders and policy work. Furthermore you will have strong organisational, information interpretation and report writing skills as well as a knowledge of the key policy in the field of mental health.
 
You must possess a strong commitment to our core values of Accountability, Knowledge and Equality.
 
The post will involve travel across the North West and occasionally elsewhere.
