Breakthrough has responded to the Office for Disability Issues consultation on their Right to Control proposals.
Breakthrough welcomes this consultation and is pleased to be able to contribute to the debates: the response has been drawn up through consultations with Board members, staff, and Policy Think Tank members: the great majority of these contributors are disabled people. The response is available on the website below:
A key feature of the response is the importance of well supported and resourced disabled people’s organisations to the success of ‘Right to Control’ (RTC) – in terms of providing advocacy and information to disabled people
