The Big Care Debate events

The Government is working to create a new National Care Service for England that is fair, simple and affordable. The Big Care Debate is an open consultation on the options for reform.
There are 36 stakeholder events taking place in cities throughout England from July to October 2009, giving stakeholder audiences an opportunity to learn about the Green Paper in detail, to share their responses and to meet and ask questions of senior policy officials.
Each stakeholder event is designed to last around three and a half hours. Stakeholders are invited to share their responses and thoughts in a series of structured facilitated sessions on differing aspects of the Green Paper.
