Call for evidence on the role of the third sector in personalisation of public services

17 August 2009

The Cabinet Office Advisor on Third Sector Innovation, the Rt Hon Anne McGuire MP, is considering the role of the third sector in the personalisation of public services.  Anne is currently looking at this for health and social care and services to reduce crime and re-offending.

Evidence, ideas or recommendations which link to the following four key questions are being sought:

How can the third sector:

  • offer real choice to citizens?
  • deliver personalised early intervention?
  • overcome organisational barriers to personalisation?
  • improve outcomes through service user participation?

For details of what these questions mean and to respond visit http://www.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/third_sector/innovation/innovation_advisor.aspx

The deadline for submission of information is Friday 25 September.
