At our recent annual conference and AGM, we ran a workshop on the current VCSE Review of the investment in and partnerships with the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in health and wellbeing. It is important that as many people as possible get involved in contributing and you can have your say in a number of ways. The deadline for responses is 6th November
A Day In The Life work shadowing scheme

NCVO’s A Day In The Life programme matches voluntary sector staff with civil servants, giving each the chance to spend up to a day in each other’s workplace. There are currently still places available for staff from the North West working in administrative or service delivery roles to shadow civil servants from the Department for Work and Pensions

The Cabinet Office has set aside a further £200,000 of funding to support up to five more local areas in 2015/16 as part of the Delivering Differently for Young People programme. This is a government initiative aimed at funding alternative ways of providing local authority youth provision (resilience building).
