Learning and Skills Network

North West Voluntary and Community Sector Employment Learning and Skills Network

Vision: To be the regional strategic network for Voluntary and Community Sector providers of  employability, learning, skills, information, advice and guidance and sector workforce development.

Mission: To develop a sustainable and effective regional network, giving a strong single voice to voluntary sector  providers, allowing them to represent the needs of their client groups to those who make strategic decisions about learning opportunities, influencing strategy and policy at national and regional level.

Values: The Network is specifically concerned with the requirements of voluntary sector  providers, however it will work co-operatively and pro-actively with other providers and agencies from other sectors where this is of appropriate benefit. The structure of the Network will be open, transparent and accountable, guided by a co-ordination committee from within the membership. The Network will be dynamic and responsive to the developing needs of its members, stakeholders and the learners ultimately supported.

The network currently has more than 60 member organisations.
