VSNW is currently recruiting for two short-term posts due to staff moving into new jobs:

Fixed term to 30 June 2012
35 hours per week
25 days holiday + 5 Company days
NJC Point 36-38: £30,011 to £31,754
Secondments considered & Immediate start desired
Base: North West of England
You will be responsible for supporting the voluntary and community sector’s contribution to policy and strategy development nationally and in the North West through facilitating the North West Infrastructure Partnership, supporting individual voluntary and community sector representatives and driving knowledge transfer between individuals and organisations.
You should have experience of partnership working between statutory and VCS organisations, consulting with, and reporting to, a wide range of stakeholders and policy work. Furthermore you will have strong organisational, information interpretation and report writing skills as well as a knowledge of the key policy issues facing the VCS.

NJC Point 32 – 34: £27,052 to £28,636 pro rata
Secondments considered & Immediate start desired
Base: North West of England
You will be responsible for collating and disseminating quality information to partners through a range of media and ensuring a strong knowledge base is maintained to support the voluntary & community sector in the North West.
You should possess a good understanding of the VCS and the challenges for the sector. You should also have experience of policy and development work including knowledge of key regional policy issues. Excellent communication skills will be essential along with the ability to use ICT to gain maximum engagement of our partners.
