Inspiring Leaders development programme
20 April 2010 - 29 June 2010
Parbold, Lancashire
Inspiring Leaders is a practical leadership training programme designed by and for the voluntary and community sector. Since 2007, over 150 leaders in the North West have completed the programme. www.leadchange.co.uk
The course is suitable for trustees, volunteers or paid staff of not-for-profit organisations or groups who have responsibility for people or projects. Feedback from recent programme graduates in Lancashire can be viewed on-line at: http://tiny.cc/lanc09
Only eight places remain available. The course will run from 9.30am until 4pm in Parbold on the following Tuesdays:
20 April/10 - 1) Your Community leadership
27 April/10 - 2) Leading & learning
4 May/10 - 3) Managing organisations
11 May/10 - 4) Sustaining your organisation
18 May/10 - 5) Measuring & proving impact
25 May/10 - 6) Managing relationships
29 June/10 - 7) Reflection & action learning
Applicants are eligible for applying for a free place if they can answer ‘yes’ to both of the following questions:
1) Are you applying on behalf of a not for profit organisation?
2) Do you either live, work or volunteer within West Lancashire, Chorley or South Ribble?
For those not eligible for a funded place the cost of the course starts at £495 (plus VAT) per person.
Inspiring Leaders is being delivered by MISPA (part of Manchester Metropolitan University) in partnership with a regional social enterprise called, Sport 4 Life Ltd. It is funded by the Capacity Builders Improving Reach initiative and is receiving local support and assistance from West Lancashire CVS and Help Direct Lancashire.
