This course provides a whistlestop introduction covering the basics you need to consider to ensure effective management of a community building. Self assessment tools and action planning to implement change are key throughout so you will take away practical ways to improve your building’s success.
Areas covered will include:
o What makes a successful building
o Legal responsibilities
o Health & Safety
o Building care and maintenance
o People within your building – staff, volunteers, users
o Developing enterprise / income
o Sources of further support and information
