Do you want the convenience of getting quality, affordable groceries delivered to your workplace?
Do you have an hour to spare at lunchtime on 5th December?
By getting together and ordering with colleagues you can get really competitive prices from local businesses, enabling you to source affordable, healthy and ethical products direct to your workplace. From fresh veg to organic meat, dried foods and household items, prices can be competitive with the supermarkets and by going straight to suppliers in your region, you're also helping keep money in the local economy.
You will have a free tasty lunch, and Feeding Manchester and some local suppliers will explain how it can work.
Who are Feeding Manchester? Feeding Manchester is a not-for-profit network of groups, charities and businesses working for healthy, sustainable food in the city. They're bringing suppliers from Manchester and the North of England together with people who can give advice on setting up a simple buying group. They hope this will help you make it happen in your workplace!
Who's this for? Whether you're responsible for corporate social responsibility in your firm, or just love good food, this event is for anyone who wants to access great groceries from sustainable local businesses, without the hassle of shopping around for it. The aim is to help you bring the suppliers to the office, saving you time, cutting food miles and encouraging healthy eating.
To book a place go to the Feeding Manchester website. Booking deadline 12pm, Fri Dec 2nd
