Inspiring Leaders: free launch event

MISPA at Manchester Metropolitan University has been commissioned by the Manchester Beacon Initiative to provide a leadership training course for the voluntary and community sector in Manchester. The free launch event will be taking place in Zion Arts Centre, Hulme, to introduce the course. Presentations will take place between 6 and 8pm and the event will finish with a networking dinner served between 8-9pm.
INSPIRING LEADERS was designed with community partners in 2006 and has now been delivered to over 100 local leaders in the North West. Full detail on the programme and past graduates can be found at www.leadchange.co.uk
After the launch event, dates for the forthcoming INSPIRING LEADERS course will be announced. This will run over seven days between January and March 2010.
Applications to INSPIRING LEADERS will be open to anyone but free places have been secured for those who work or volunteer for voluntary sector groups in Moss Side, Hulme, Ardwick, Longsight & Rusholme areas of Manchester.
