IDeA Partnership Improvement Programme seminar

IDeA have organised a free seminar for local authority officers, elected members and voluntary sector organisations on that will give participants the opportunity to:
- share the learning from the Partnership Improvement Programme (13 participant areas in the North)
- consider actions for improvement in their own areas
- hear about the activities planned through the National Programme for Third Sector Commissioning and the Targeted Support Fund
Julia Unwin CBE, Chief Executive of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, will provide the keynote speech.

Partnership Improvement Programme: Over the past two years the IDeA has worked with the Institute of Voluntary Action Research to deliver the Partnership Improvement Programme within thirteen local authority areas in the North of England. This programme was designed to improve cross-sector partnership working between local authorities and local third sector organisations. Each area developed an improvement plan to take this work forward.
IDeA has also recently won the tender to deliver the second phase of the National Programme for Third Sector Commissioning and to deliver the public sector portion of the Targeted Support Fund - Cabinet Office funding for supporting third sector activity during the recession.
