European Policy
3 August 2009
VSNW’s work centres around identifying opportunities for the VCS to be involved in the design, implementation, governance and support structures of European projects.
Key to this is VSNW's work to:
- represent the sector on European policy
- influence the way European funding is used in our region.
European funding news is available from the following briefing paper:
European funding in the North West 2007-2013 (Mark Dawson, VSNW: 25 June 2008). It includes information about:
- European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
- European Social Fund (ESF) which includes Learning & Skills Council, Jobcentre Plus and Community Grants funding.
